[edit] Terraforming
Just wondering, does anyone know if the terrain shape changes when you terraform the Earth? Maybe someone should mention somthing about this in the article. Haghog999 07:33, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
- yes you can terraform earth and make it practically unrecognizable.99.153.29.112 10:36, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, I mean does the terrain change when you use tools such as the Staff of Life to change the planet to T3?Haghog999 10:47, 4 November 2008 (UTC
- It shouldn't. It kinda grows a bit brownish, but that's it. I could get a picture of it like this, in case you want to terraform it. Tmy2u 10:37 December 5 2008 (UTC
While you're at it, I was suggesting putting pics of each planet at each T level 12.104.78.7 03:40, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- Done and done. Tmy2u 23:59, December 5, 2008 (UTC)
Wow! Those are great. 12.104.78.7 18:16, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Should we have PNGs of Earth at the other T-levels i.e.: T1 hot+high atmosphere, T2 Hot+high, ect. ect.? Why is atmosheric density the only important thing?12.32.58.75 04:34, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
Okay, we got completly frozen earth. What about the rest of the T scores? 216.137.225.167 15:04, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
They mean not terraforming. ONLY the t-score. 216.137.228.247 16:12, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
I think that the land forms do change if you use terraforming tools because they have to even the land they sit on to set up equipment
i could be wrong XD216.54.120.67 17:04, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
[edit] plants and animals
what are all the plants and animals on planet earth, if there are any?
Please sign, and the page says that it has just randome creatures. 12.104.78.7 03:27, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Earth only has random plants. It has no animals. OluapPlayer 12:56, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
- not true. ive found earth across 3 different galaxies and all 3 times its had one herbivore. TheCreaturenator16 04:57, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
Well the rest of the Spore playing world has found only plants, soooo... 12.32.58.75 05:59, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
If you want Earth creatures simply make Earth a zoo planet and create/find earth creatures. Wormulon 12:33, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
Is it possible to use the Monolith to cause the evolution of a sentient race on Earth? My game tells me I can't. 99.225.16.142 21:50, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- I did, and a race developed even though there was no animals. Thanks, TimeMaster Talk Main Contribs 22:46, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Earth gives clue to time of Spore
The lack of a flag on the moon made me thing Spore takes place before humanity.
In my game, Humans are already in their space stage. Wormulon 11:27, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
I think its in the future as the continants are in the same places.
I think that Spore takes place at the same time as humans.Falcoz 17:52, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Humans are not an official element of gameplay like the Grox or the Earth, but I have come across humans at least in my game, and strangely enough, they were only a few parsecs from Earth! This is probably a coincidence. Wormulon 10:15, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
[edit] about humans
Test>type_tucar1 well peoples about humans we are very destructive, Kida like the aliens from the movie signs, the kid said that they had exausted all of the resources on their planet and had moved on to find anoughter one to use, this is probably why they are found a couple of parsecs away from earth in spore and probably why earth is dead with only one species of plant and rarly a herbivore as said in article time in spore
we probably terraformed it out of its habital zone of T-3 into a hotter but still habital zone thats why it still has a tree Species, also stated by Steve the omnipotent being- We are running out of time shares on a particularly special planet orbiting the star sol- which means that humans have changedand left earth as they are no longer there 65.169.203.196 17:16, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
The Martians probably killed us. They're planning invasion! Liquid Ink 22-08-09
[edit] T-Scores
Why do we only have pics of Earth at the various atmospheric levels, and one picture of frozen Earth? What about at all of the other T-scores? Like I have said before: I am not a user, and I currently don't have plans to become a user. That, and I have not found Earth yet, so I can be of no help, anyhow. None of my empires are strong enough in the space stage. 216.152.181.113 08:00, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Okay, I lied. I'm a user now! Like the saying goes, "If you want something done right(or in this case, done) ya gotta do it yourself!" I am not, however, adding to the others, at least for a while. Poisson14 03:18, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Global Warming = T3?
In the article it states "Strangely, Earth turns a Brown-red when it becomes T3. This may conclude that Earth is, right now, at a T1 level, and that if humans cause global warming, it may decrease the atmosphere with other pollutants, causing the change from green to brown." Could someone clarify this for me? How does global warming contribute to the development of Earth in to a T3 planet, and how does anyone come up with such a conclusion. If it decreases the atmosphere with other pollutants, causing the change from green to brown, then how is it a "perfect planet" with the Terrascore of 3? None of my friends seems to understand this either. Cyfiero 22:36, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, to begin with, the "physics" of Spore don't quite match up to the physics of the real universe. I think what's happening here is that we all tend to think of the Earth as the perfect place for life to exist, understandable because life does exist here, but I'm guessing that the makers of Spore wanted to make a statement and say that it might not be quite as perfect as we all like to think, and that there are other planets out there far better suited to holding an eco-system. Of course this doesn't explain the Global Warming part, but as I said, Spore Physics ≠ Real Life Physics. ChrisGJ777 22:47, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I understood that part already, but it doesn't make sense. Was it actually stated officially that it is an evidence of global warming that the Earth changes color when becoming a T3 planet or was this just determined by a player? Because global warming is supposed to have a negative effect on a planet. Cyfiero 03:10, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
I think I know what this article is getting at. Its saying that supposingly in Spore, Earth's atmosphere is high enough to be in the T1 level while maintaining a balance in temperature. As global warming decreases the atmosphere level, Earth will move into T3, therefore in the game they determine that global warming or at least a decrease in temperature is necessary to transform the planet into T3, although too much will be harmful to the planet... Cyfiero 03:16, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
And I think it's a reference to Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. Think about it, the red color is really xenofungus. Watch out for mindworms! -The Accountless Avenger!
[edit] Earthy's Landmasses
I have been to Earth on countless occasions and have colonised most of Sol, but according to THIS WIKI Earth should have spice.
Instead, Earth is spiceless and looks nothing like the images on THIS WIKI!
The planet looks similarly to the first solar system you visit with not 1 ruined city but at least 3 ruined cities!
There is no way for me to colonise Earth seeing as how youy need spice to colonise, kind of a vicious circle there.
However... this is not my most pressing matter.
On my travels as a different species of alien, which i can't remember the name of, i flew to a planet called Psypo. Psypo's landmass is exactly like the Earths is and should be! I can't remeber the system or the alien species but Psypo did t so thshave spice!
So, Earth didn't look like Earth, had 3 ruined cities, and no spice?
Zagorian Comm/Contrib 12:49, 12 July 2009 (UTC)
- Was the solar system correct? With the six innermost planets and three moons? - Redmess 13:52, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
- Earth is orbiting sol with the seven other planets. Any other planet is likely a glitch. —Preceding signed comment added by TimeMaster (talk • contribs) 18:07, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Why Earth is really T1
Its is so that players have some free creature slots so they can create Earth animals, that is them most likely answer. Wormulon 09:55, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- Makes pretty good sense I suppose :) I do know an awesome person who goes by "Celena" in Spore who makes a couple earth-like creatures (I know a wolf is one); but mainly Pokemon, if you consider faving her and don't like pokemon. :p Novawolf 11:56, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
