[edit] How do I create content?

Question: how do I create my own content?—This comment was added by Fuzzie Fuzz (TalkContributionsE-mail).

Basically, check out a page like Naucean (Concept), it's just making graphics, and using your imagination :). "Fan-art" kind of thing -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions) 20:29, 3 April 2006 (PDT)

Ah, I thought it was made up/imagination. (Not meaning to sound demeaning/rude) Thanks!—This comment was added by Fuzzie Fuzz (TalkContributionsE-mail).

Well, basically, it IS made up :). When the game comes out we'll host ACTUAL content, but for now it's just concept art, that's why those things have (Concept) on the end of their pages :). -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions) 07:21, 4 April 2006 (PDT)

[edit] Size

I'm just curious as to why the text is so large in the various database boxes on this page, while the templates them selves are sized correctly. - Yossitaru 17:27, 30 April 2006 (PDT)

Because they weren't on their own line...why that caused that I don't know, but it's fixed, thanks :) -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions) 17:57, 30 April 2006 (PDT)

[edit] User created content

I don't think there's any point in including "SporeWiki" in the article name. Especially since there's creatures on this page not created by SporeWiki users. So User created content would be more suitable to hold what this page holds, and User created content in Spore can be renamed if its name is reason enough for naming this article with a "SporeWiki" prefix.

I think User created content would be fine. --Daxx (T C) 10:53, 27 May 2006 (PDT)
That sounds alright, I was thinking of a way to do it because quite a few things like to user created content and if someone typed that into the search it would be a question of which one they were looking for, but I figure if we just put a notice on this one (when title user created content) that linked to the "in spore" article, it would work out fine. -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions - E-mail) 09:09, 28 May 2006 (PDT)

[edit] Additional Databases?

Will this wiki be coming out with a flora (plant) editor any time soon? I've got at least one plant idea, but no where to put it. -- Wildhalcyon 11:53, 30 May 2006 (PDT)

Well, you are the demand, so I'll whip something up ASAP, hopefully by the end of the day. -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions - E-mail) 12:13, 30 May 2006 (PDT)
Just for you Wildhalcyon, Flora database. Hope you don't mind some red links for a while :-P. But you can put up your creature just fine following the instructions even if you make more red links, they will be filled in soon enough. -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions - E-mail) 12:27, 30 May 2006 (PDT)
