No offence but you spelt genious wrong —This comment was added by Martham112 (TalkContributionsE-mail).

That's why people can edit the articles, to fix that stuff instead of just pointing it out Martham112 :). Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions) 10:04, 5 February 2006 (PST)

No offence but you spelt genious wrong HAHAHAHA! Pure irony! —This comment was added by 80.3.64.9 (TalkContributionsE-mail).

Can we take stuff from the Will Wright article on wikipedia? The pic needs to be changed as well, preferably something involving Spore. I'll come back to this if no-one else wants to give it a go. --Daxx 06:55, 4 April 2006 (PDT)

Yeah, that'd be best to take from there. -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions) 07:20, 4 April 2006 (PDT)

If someone else wants to fill in the Will Wright and Spore section a bit more that would be appreciated --Daxx (T C) 05:52, 5 April 2006 (PDT)

[edit] Broken cquote

It seems to break down due to the URL of the Red Herring article. It has a = in it. We've had problems like this before with non-alphanumerics such as &. If we move the citation outside of the template all works well, but that means we'll need to make a policy that says we either have all the citation in the cquote or outside just for the sake of uniformity. For now I have it outside so that people can see the quote. - Yossitaru 11:56, 26 May 2006 (PDT)

Well, unless we can fix the template somehow, I recommend from now on having all citations outside the quotation with a triple indent (:::) before the citation. It makes it just about readable. --Daxx (T C) 14:50, 26 May 2006 (PDT)
Sounds good to me. And I'll look into the template. -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions - E-mail) 15:00, 26 May 2006 (PDT)
If all "=" signs are replaced by <nowiki>=</nowiki> then it will work. See Template:cquote. -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions - E-mail) 15:11, 26 May 2006 (PDT)
Okay, I fixed it in the article. I would rather see citations inside cquote, if at all possible. Looks a lot neater. --Daxx (T C) 16:10, 26 May 2006 (PDT)

Hehe... "Marxis(t)"... That's a good one! :P

Wasn't that a posed picture (instead of an edited one)? Samog 00:25, 1 June 2006 (PDT)

I see this was mostly copied from the original Wikipedia article.—This comment was added by Defcon (TalkContributionsE-mail).

Indeed, most of the "Biography" section was. Other bits are more or less all my own writing and research from other sources. However, I've noticed that some of the stuff I've personally added has been retroactively incorporated back into the Wikipedia article. --Daxx (T C) 04:31, 30 May 2006 (PDT)

[edit] E-mail

does anybody know Mr.wrights personal or work e-mail address?

I do, but I'd rather not give it out. He's had his e-mail box flooded when I last gave it out, so I'm not going to do that again. If you go to our links page you can find several sites with forums that have or are planning to send out mass group e-mails so he doesn't have to have a flooded e-mail, that would be the best place to ask him a question. But then again, what's your question for him? Maybe it's already answered. -- Mason11987 (T - C - E) 06:43, 12 July 2006 (PDT)
it was just for like a basic report because of the slow amount of info after E3 so we know its not dead, thx for the link. --Trex1117 07:02, 12 July 2006 (PDT)
It is most certainly not dead I can assure you of that. But I have e-mailed him to ask him to give a short report of what's going on. He has responded to me in the past so while I'm doubting it, he may respond to this :). -- Mason11987 (T - C - E) 07:21, 12 July 2006 (PDT)

[edit] logo

has anybody else noticed that the maxis logo looks like a hammer and sickle or is it just me?

Don't miss the caption under it, it's not the real logo. And to sign your comments use 4 tiles ~~~~. -- Mason11987 (T - C - E) 22:18, 12 July 2006 (PDT)

FYI Will Wright has left EA. I wonder what this will do for the SPORE series.

No idea but it had better be atleast half as good and sign your comments. Drsdino 17:34, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
