Iguania (Cope, 1864) or iguanians are commonly arboreal lizards with usually primitive tongues. Although this should include Agamidae, it doesn't do so directly because that family in particular is too diverse to be used as one family.
Chamaeleonidae(slow-moving lizards with a prehensile tail, extensible tongue, protruding eyes that rotate independently, and ability to change color)
Corytophanidae(lizards with well developed head crests, with some species being known for their ability to "walk on water")
