From SporeWiki, the knowledge base dedicated to Spore

HI. I'm a database consultent, past my first half century, and an occasional player of WoW, EVE and SupCom. Used to be an avid Civ-fan (all the way from Civ-1).

I have done a little wiki-work on the SupCom wiki, otherwise I am new to this Wiki-contribution work.

My ' main task ' on this Wiki is to find out why/where/how there are thousands of pages ... and the game isn't even released!! How on earth is this going to be relevant 5 minutes after realease on 7th Sep? how to get a lot of speculation pages (very reasonable and well informed) from before the release, replaced by some hard fact pages. User-fanatsy is beyond me to comment.

Not that I am trying to save the world - or even this Wiki - I am just a casual user.
