Xho on IRC has reminded me that SporeWiki was founded by Zorlac on January the 7th, 2006, six years ago. For a generally small wiki, it has lasted a long time, remember, Wikia only began in March 27, 2006 (but Wikicities existed before), its also a very unique wiki in my opinion.

2011 was a way more productive year than 2010, more like the older years (I myself joined this wiki in 2008 and edited unregistered even before!). Perhaps I've been on this wiki too long, but who cares. What I have noticed is that there are maybe less users now, maybe in Spore as well, but that must mean we are all true Spore players! I also feel SporeWiki has fulfilled what Will Wright envisioned with the fiction universe, that is, he stated several occasions that Spore was made as a sandbox for imagination which goes beyond gameplay. I could waffle on but there is no point, all of this you all probably know anyway. Hopefully, SporeWiki will be here next year with just as many users, although I may not. This is not a farewell blog, but I may not be here at the end of the year, because I have some Real Life plans which will take up a lot of room. I can't say for sure, yet. That doesn't mean I woudn't visit IRC time to time however.

I have some fiction ideas for this year too.
