You have asked, but I don't use IM very often. I do have Trillian kicking around somewhere, so it wouldn't be impossible for me to create an AIM account (is that necessary? I've never used AIM before) and use it if there was something important. --Daxx ^(T C) 17:40, 4 June 2006 (PDT)

I recently noticed that the page Vexarion Photophoid, that I made, was vandalized... beyond repair! I would really like to know who did this, or tips for preventing this. Thanks in advance! --Arachoid

It was vandalized? How so? I was the only other person who edited that page and I just moved it to the correct title for a concept creature and put in the infobox, the creature database template and the correct categorization as I have on dozens of other creature concepts. -- Mason11987 ^{(T - C - E)} 15:49, 23 July 2006 (PDT)

I looked at it and so many things had changed... Someone changed all the failed prototypes, and even deleted the section about their armor. Why? I don't know. Do you know how to help me prevent this? I'm sorry I put this here... I didn't know where else to go... Arachoid

I just found the pre vandalized page! Too late though, it was deleted by me. I can't cut from it either. Can I restore it? Arachoid

Everything on a wiki can be restored to it's previous state, there aren't many easy ways of preventing such vandalism, but I catch 99% of it and revert it within a few hours (as do the rest of the admins here). I don't know how I could have missed that, but if you give me a link to the page that was vandalized, I can fix it. I'm setting up a proposal to change our databases (like the Creature database into a kind of sporepedia. All the details are still being worked out but I could use comments from people who are actually involved in adding creatures to sporewiki and for anyone willing to help make such a transition work if we are going to make this transition. If you have any ideas for how something like this could be done better of if you have any comments what so ever head over to: SporeWiki:Proposal for the creation of the SporepediaWiki and let us know on the talk page. When welcoming new members you might want to use use this instead

== Welcome ==
{{SUBST:welcome|name}}

I just updated all the welcome templates, now you need to type less to place them on red-linked talk pages, just do this:

For anonymous IPs:
{{subst:welcomeip}} (to use the welcome image)
{{subst:welcomeip1}} (to not use the welcome image)

For registered users:
{{subst:welcome}} (to use the welcome image)
{{subst:welcome1}} (to not use the welcome image)
