If you were interested. I was going to give you sysop powers (delete/protect/whatever). It's nothing major. That would be cool. Even though the sysop:vandal and sysop:user ratios are 3:1 and 3:34 right now, the community will eventually get larger and people will start following the Spore Net and Wikipedia links. Samog 15:15, 21 February 2006 (PST)

Well I don't think being an admin should be a big thing really. Not like a moderator at a forum, sysop powers aren't very important. But could be useful for some stuff. You'll be able to delete things and roll back vandalism. But unless things are obvious, I would say don't delete articles unless their is some kind of consensus. I set up a little Table of contents on SporeWiki:Newsletter/InProgress, if you want to try to whip up some basics for the sections, that'd be useful, I won't be back to my dorms til sunday so I won't get a chance to do it til then. When welcoming new members you might want to use use this instead

== Welcome ==
{{SUBST:welcome|name}}

I just updated all the welcome templates, now you need to type less to place them on red-linked talk pages, just do this:

For anonymous IPs:
{{subst:welcomeip}} (to use the welcome image)
{{subst:welcomeip1}} (to not use the welcome image)

For registered users:
{{subst:welcome}} (to use the welcome image)
{{subst:welcome1}} (to not use the welcome image)
